Dr. Daniel Roshan, MD, FACOG, FACS

Daniel F. Roshan, MD, FACOG, FACS, is Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a renowned maternal-fetal medicine specialist with an expertise in high-risk pregnancies and chorionic villus sampling. His areas of specialty include recurrent pregnancy losses, preterm labor, multiple pregnancies, thrombophilia and pregnancy, and cerclage procedures. He also offers premier medical care for women faced with chronic disease during pregnancy.
Although his practice is based in New York City, patients are referred to Dr. Roshan from throughout the country.
Dr. Roshan is an active member of several professional and healthcare-related organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Surgeons Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Society, Johns Hopkins Howard Kelly Society, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Society for Human Genetics, Society for Gynecologic Investigation, Bellevue OB/GYN Society and the New York Obstetrics Society. He also founded the Sephardic American Medical Society.
Dr. Roshan has published more than 50 research abstracts and presented original research papers at numerous scientific societies, such as the Society for Gynecological Investigation, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from Tel Aviv University, Dr. Roshan received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Dr. John Migotsky, MD, FACOG

Dr. John Migotsky is a Board-certified OB/GYN, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He comes to ROSH Maternal-Fetal medicine with 16 years of experience. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in neuroscience, Dr. Migotsky conducted research in maternal/child health and perinatal epidemiology with the Rhode Island Department of Health. He received his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Then he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Prior to his work with ROSH, he worked in private practice in Westchester, NY and was affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. John Migotsky is committed to providing high-quality care to patients by listening to their concerns, addressing their needs and providing insightful remedies and recommendations. He has delivered thousands of babies including many vaginal births after Cesarean section (VBAC). His team approach encompasses gynecologic oncology, infertility and urogynecology. In addition, he has comprehensive experience performing gynecologic surgery. His warm and sensitive care insures a successful outcome.
Shira Plonka, MS, CGC, FACOG
Genetic Counselor
Shira Plonka is a certified genetic counselor specializing in preconception, prenatal and cancer genetic counseling. Shira is committed to educating her patients about the importance of genetic screening and diagnostic testing, while providing a supportive and non-directive environment.
Shira earned a master of science degree in human genetics from Sarah Lawrence College and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), and the International Society of Prenatal Diagnosis (ISPD). She has also interned at many of New York City’s top hospitals, acquiring a broad exposure to many disciplines and sub-specialties. Prior to earning her master’s, Shira received an honors degree in psychology and social work from University of Waterloo in Canada.
Dr. Behnam Kohanim, MD, FACOG

Dr. Behnam Kohanim is an obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in NYC. Dr. Kohanim specializes in women’s health, particularly the female reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth. As an obstetrician-gynecologist or OB-GYN, Dr. Kohanim can treat a number of health issues related to the vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and breasts. Dr. Howard Shaw, MD FACOG

Dr. Howard Shaw has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1995. He graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers in 1987 where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science. Dr. Shaw was then admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa society and studied at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine, where he graduated in 1991. Immediately after, he began training at Lenox Hill Hospital and since his graduation in 1995, he has been an attending physician there.
In addition, Dr. Shaw has received board certification from the Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His expertise includes family planning, menstrual and Pap smear irregularities, annual check-ups, pre and post-menopausal symptoms, obstetrics, and gynecology.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Benjamin and Samantha. He currently resides in Manhattan’s East Side, which allows him to be immediately available for his patients.

Eliana Colman PA
Eliana Colman is a board certified physician assistant licensed to practice in New York. Eliana earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Florida, where her journey in women’s health began. Throughout her time at UF Eliana worked at a birthing center where she assisted midwives in providing prenatal and postpartum care and delivering babies. After graduation, Eliana moved to New York City where she completed her physician assistant education at Touro University in Manhattan, earning dual degrees in Health Science and Physician Assistant Studies. During her physician assistant training, Eliana completed two additional clinical rotations in OBGYN where she was trained to sensitively address the specific needs of diverse patients, particularly those who were Ultra Orthodox. Throughout her education Eliana gained a particular interest in endometriosis which she ultimately selected to be the topic of her capstone project.
Eliana is passionate about women’s health and is dedicated to establishing collaborative relationships with her patients. She strives to provide comfort during challenging times and is honored to be a part of her patients’ healthcare journeys.
Ana Navas
Ana Navas is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to empowering women through health and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and her Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Ana began her career at Near North Health in Chicago, cultivating expertise in community health and patient-centered care, particularly in antepartum care. Specializing in family planning and reproductive health, she is passionately committed to enhancing the health outcomes of women through compassionate, evidence-based practice. Ana is also bilingual and speaks Spanish.
Dr. Ketly Michel, MD FACOG
Dr. Ketly Michel, MD is a Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist in New York, NY and has over 38 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Michel has more experience with Gynecologic Conditions and Obstetric Care than other specialists in her area. Dr. Will W. Lee, MD FACOG
Dr. Will W. Lee is a Gynecologist and a Women’s Healthcare Specialist providing a premium and highly attentive clinical service for all of our patients. He was educated at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency training at Boston Medical Center/Boston University Medical Center integrative program.
His past experiences include proudly serving our country as a medical officer and Obstetrician & Gynecologist with the United States Air Force Medical Corps. Dr. Lee is here to listen to your unique health concerns and will advocate the treatment options that best meet your needs. He has a special interest in office-based infertility assessments, minimally invasive procedures, and welcomes second opinion consultations for all gynecological disease states.
I have specialized fellowship training in Fertility Medicine/ Assisted Reproductive Technologies (A.R.T.) from one of the largest NYC Fertility Centers; thereby, affording our patients a timely workup to help you in starting a wonderful new family. I am available everyday and will work with you from the moment you are evaluated and plan a customized ovarian stimulation cycle or a more natural holistic approach. ALL infertility patients are seen regardless of age and can reach me during off hours. You are NEVER alone and ultimately will feel secure by my approach.
