A caring team of English & Spanish Speaking Female Gynecologists and staff in Manhattan and Brooklyn!

Dr. Rachel Villaneuva, Dr. Tracey Fein, and Dr. Nontawan Benja serve women throughout Manhattan from offices located in Midtown New York and Upper East Side. The offices specializes in gynecology needs. Patients have access to a wide variety of services including consultation, planning, and gynecological treatments for conditions such as vaginal dryness, pelvic pain, pelvic prolapse, and symptoms of menopause.

The doctors are dedicated to providing sensitive and thorough care and building lasting relationships with their patients. Most new patients come through recommendations and referrals because the staff are caring, knowledgeable, and take the time to truly listen to their patients. The doctors specialize in providing minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries. These surgeries offer better patient outcomes with more rapid recovery, less pain or discomfort, and few scars.

The doctors at our Manhattan offices currently are welcoming new patients. Most major forms of insurance are accepted.

Tracey Fein MD FACOG

Dr. Tracey Fein has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1984. She graduated with highest honors from Suny Stony Brook with a bachelors in Biology in 1980 where she then continued her medical education. Immediately after, she began her internship and residency at Lenox Hill Hospital where she was honored with the Outstanding Chief Resident Award in 1988. She is an expert in treating Genito Urinary Syndrom of Menopause, including the Mona Lisa Touch Laser [an FDA approved, safe & painless office procedure. Dr. Fein, who is a member of the NYS Medical Society American Board OBGYN, is also an author. She published her first book called “The Menopause Plan” in 2016.

Nontawan Benja, MD, FACOG

Dr. Tracey Fein has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1984. Rachel Villaneuva, MD, FACOG

Dr. Rachel Villanueva is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and has been in practice for over 20 years. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology at the New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine.

She is president of the National Medical Association (NMA), the nation’s oldest and largest organization representing African American healthcare professionals, and is a member of the Medical Advisory Group of the Black Health Trust, a group of physicians and health care professionals committed to educating and serving communities of color. Dr. Villanueva has held numerous local, regional and national leadership positions, including Chair of the Board of Trustees, Speaker of the House of Delegates, and Chair of the Council on Concerns of Women Physicians. 

Marjon Mobasseri, MD

Dr. Marjon Mobasseri grew up in Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

In addition to providing the full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, Dr. Mobasseri is active in research and community wellness projects. With each patient visit she strives to provide an environment of comfort and cooperation, and she looks forward to delivering optimal care to you.

In her free time, Dr. Mobasseri enjoys spending time with family and traveling. In addition to English, she is fluent in Persian.

Katya Ostrow, MD

A New York City native, Dr. Katya Ostrow attended an all-girls school and then graduated from Columbia University as a pre-medical student majoring in women’s and gender studies. She subsequently conducted bioclinical research for several years at Mount Sinai Hospital, after which she took the leap to the Mediterranean to study at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She went on to complete OB/GYN residency, finishing as Chief Resident, at Rochester General Hospital in upstate New York, where she received rigorous training working with diverse and complex patient populations in all aspects of the field and its subspecialties.

Dr. Ostrow has consistently maintained a passion for advocacy, empowerment and creating a collaborative patient-physician relationship. She is committed to providing equitable, evidence-based, compassionate care to her patients through all stages of their lives.

Dr. Ostrow is pleased to be a member of the Rosh MFM team and a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU, and she is looking forward to continuing serving and growing with the community.

In addition to English, Dr. Ostrow is fluent in French. She provides a full range of general obstetrical and gynecological services, and has a special interest in family planning, adolescent health, LGBTQ care and social determinants of health.

Sarah Davis, FNP-C

Sarah completed her undergraduate education at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She remained in Birmingham where she worked as a labor and delivery nurse for four years. She went on to complete graduate school at The University of Alabama before relocating to New York City. As a board certified family nurse practitioner, Sarah strives to provide the highest quality of holistic, compassionate and evidence based care to women across the lifespan.

Liza Solaimanzadeh, PA-C

Liza comes to ROSH Maternal Fetal Medicine after spending the last 8 years with Northwell Health in the OB/GYN Department of North Shore University Hospital. She completed her dual Bachelors and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Touro College School of Health Sciences in Manhattan and also possesses a Bachelors in Psychology from Queens College, the City University of New York. Liza has always been passionate about caring for women and loves to be with women in every aspect of their health care needs. She is particularly passionate about helping women through pregnancy and giving them strength through childbirth.
